Lone Tree Simmental

Here at Lone Tree Simmentals, we have decided to add an Angus division to our program. With this in mind, our goal is to bring you Angus genetics that are not only successful in the show ring but also in the pasture. We realize that the majority of a cow’s life is spent in the pasture and we want to bring you females that excel in terms of efficiency, phenotype, genotype, and most importantly profitability during that cows productive life.

With this said, will be marketing our cattle under the name “HOTZ FARMS.” We are located 2 miles southeast of Lone Tree, Iowa. Feel Free to give us a call. We would love to show you our cattle.

A future donor that we are extremely excited about. We purchased 6326 in the 2008 Champion Hill Spring sale. She has gone on to have a very successful show career including being named Reserve Grand Champion Angus Female at the 2009 Fort Worth Stock Show. 6326 is out or the great SAV Bismarck 5682 and the Great picture cow of the breed Champion Hill Georgian 2121. Two Full sisters were sale toppers at the 2008 Champion Hill Fall sale at $80,000 and $25,000 for half interest.
