BREEDING BULLS

The maternal traits are stacked for this Fall yearling bull. His sire’s Dam and Grand-dam are both foundation females that are ‘Dams of Distinction’, and they are both still active in the herd, passing along beautiful udders and mothering ability to all their daughters. This bull has a lot of natural muscle and he’s looking better and better every day.
Weight as of May 15, 2010 – 1,710 lbs.

Here’s a strongly built bull calf out of the LH Dsignr 444 herd sire and a consistent cow with a near perfect udder. His 660 lb. Adj 205 weight was a ROG of 3.22 lb. per day. His Yearling weight was 942 lbs, and as of May 15, 2010 he is weighing in at 1,122 lbs. He has a lot of growth and will produce good gaining calves for someone’s operation.

This bull has become more and more impressive as he’s grown. He is a moderate-framed bull who would also be good for heifers or cows He exhibits the strength and growth of his sire 444, with a solid Adj. 205 weaning weight of 718 lbs., and a ROG of 3.50 lbs. per day. He’s a young May yearling bull – his Yearling actual weight - as of May 15th, was 1,047 lbs.

This young fellow started out with our smallest actual birth weight in 2009 – but he has developed into a blocky, stocky, beefy bull! He is a Sandman 0534 son, with the foundation Homebuilder sire on both the top and bottom of his mother’s side. His grand-dam, LH MS Designr 326, is one of our very top horned cows (the dam of yearling bull 907W. This bull should throw small birth weights and be ideal for heifers right off, then moderate cows after he’s had a little more time to develop his moderate frame. His Adj. 205 weaning weight - 534 lbs., and a ROG of 2.60 lbs. per day. His yearling weight was 780 lbs., and as of May 15th he’s weighing 900 lbs.
