Welcome to our 13th Annual ‘Bull Power’ Sale. Dikoff Ranch is a
third generation ranch (with the fourth generation ready to go in
the chutes), that prides itself on customer service. We are a
quality program that people can trust and follow. Satisfied and
loyal customers are the base of our operation; with out them we
would have accomplished nothing.
Although this year was significantly better than last year’s dry
conditions for us, several of our customers are still challenged by
these conditions. It is times like these when good genetics really
count. Cattle need to be hearty and efficient in order to prosper.
These are the kind of genetics we are offering you. Our females are
easy keeping and adjust well to diverse conditions. They are able to
raise a quality calf and still come home in good shape. This also
crosses over into our bulls that will be able to pass on these same
traits to your calves.

When
home our bulls are feed a practical ration. We do not over feed
them, giving them plenty of longevity. When they come home from
pasture they will hold up on their feet and legs and will easily
come back into shape. We know the importance of this in our own
bulls, and we guarantee it in the bulls we sell. We take excellent
care of our cattle assuring that they will be efficient and sound
for you our valued customer.
We still maintain the belief that it is an advantage for both the
commercial and registered breeder to use several half brothers on
his cows, making the calves extremely uniform and consistent. This
in turn will be pure profit when marketing them. We have personally
seen the benefit of using half brothers with our customers who do
so, and that is why we continue to offer them to you.

This is the fifth year that our cattle will be harvested at Exel in
Schuyler, NE. You will not find many registered herds that have data
on their own cattle’s performance in the feed yard and the harvest
report to follow. We have the actual proof of what our cattle can
and will do, plus this is done on our bottom end which is every
animal that is not kept for a bull. Our steers previously went
through the Angus America Program and we are currently using the
Power Genetics Program. Angus America and Power Genetics are both
grading programs. In most instances the Salers breed will yield

well
but not grade well. Last year our Salers cattle were able to make
even more money than the Angus did by both yielding and grading well
in a grading program. Our cattle are proven and have never wavered.
Each year they consistently dress and grade above average. Each year
we have gained a significant premium above the market. Our cattle
will perform and be profitable for you too.
