31st Annual Production Sale Results
Forster Farms Simmental held their 31st Annual Production Sale, January 30, 2010. A large crowd enjoyed the sunny day, reasonable prices and a great set of uniform Simm-Angus and Simmental cattle to appraise and purchase. 
   

Top selling bull was W500 a ½ blood by Mytty Infous selling to Mark Towne of Curtis, NE for $4400.
   

Also selling for $4400 was W097 a ¼ blood by TJ Payoff to Roger White of Hersey, NE.
   



Steven Broz of Hays Center, NE purchased the next two high bulls, W555 a ½ blood by TC Total for $4100 and W354 another ½ blood by GAR Predestined for $3700.
   

Next was W050 a Purebred by FF Pref Beef S591, he sold to Stan Hofts of Ruskin, NE for $3600.
   

Also Selling for $3600 was W156 a red ¾ blood by WS Beef Maker to Kevin Berke of Eustis, NE.
   



In the Females Don Klichmann of Stanton, NE purchased two of the top lots, they were U573 a ½ blood by BC Marathon for $2200 and W553 a purebred by FF Pref Beef S591 for $2100.

 Next was U539 a purebred by FF Duramax P569 selling to Nielson Simmentals of Campbell, NE for $2100.

 Also selling for $2100 was U597B a purebred by Sand Ranch Hand going to Chris Stratman of Hilldreth, NE.
   

The top Open heifer sold to Cole Billiter of Bertrand, NE for $1,700.  She was W545 a blaze faced purebred by Star Power.

Volume buyers were Don Klichmann of Stanton, NE with 8 Bred females
and Kris Kressin of Hays Center, NE with 5 bulls.
