Meet our Two NEW Directors
Hi, I'm Kyle Langum. I was born and raised in S.E. Minnesota. That's where I met my wife Debra. We bought our first Shorthorn cows in 1989. In 1995 we moved to Iowa, where we bought a farm in Howard County. That is where we live with our three children, Crystal 17, Keith 12 and Michael 7. Our oldest daughter Jessica lives in Minnesota and works at the Mayo Clinic. We now run 30 Shorthorn cows, selling breeding heifers and a few bulls. I also keep busy as a heavy equipment operator in the summer. |
Hi, I am Dan Mitchell, son of Tom and Jan Mitchell. My wife Renea and I live in Waverly with our four month old son, Mason. Renea works in Waverly at a law firm and I work in Nashua for Dietz Construction. I grew up showing Simmentals and in 2000 I traded a Simi Heifer for our first Shorthorn Heifer. Her 1st calf was top selling bull at 2003 Iowa Royal Sale. Our herd currently consists of two Shorthorn cows along with Mason's September Heifer. We look forward to getting more involved with the Shorthorn Family. |
